Locating logistics centers is very important for large investments. Scientific studies have focused on the location of a type of logistics center using Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods. In this research, a new approach has been presented in order to locate city, village, park and border logistics centers in the provinces using Geographical Information System (GIS) and Fuzzy Hierarchy Analysis (FAHP) method. GIS was used to determine the authorized areas for the establishment of logistics centers in the cities. For the first time, using the document of the province, the cities are grouped in logistics centers. Fuzzy Delphi method was used to select the logistics center location criteria and FAHP was used to weight the criteria. In order to validate, the proposed approach was applied in West Azerbaijan province. No city was selected as a logistics city. Also, two cities were identified and ranked as logistics villages, four cities as specialized logistics parks, and five border logistics centers. As a comprehensive model, this approach can be used in all provinces..
