1. How long does the peer review process take?

It depends on the content and the quality of a submitted paper. In addition, the delivery of the reviewers’ comments are key factors in reducing the reviewing time. JTE has defined deadlines for reviewers as well as authors to decrease the duration of the whole process. Authors must be aware that peer review process would generally take 5 to 6 months.

2. Is there any restriction on the number of pages of a submitted article?

The recommended length of the paper is 25 pages, including appendix and references.

3. How many referees usually review a paper?

Usually three reviewers should review the paper. But it also depends to the quality of the paper. If two referees announce that the paper can be revised then the  reviewing process can be continued.

4. What is the title page?

The title page shows title of the article, authors names and affiliations, and the corresponding author’s e-mail address.

5. What are the most important parts of an academic article?

In General, the most important sections  of a research paper are: Abstract, Introduction, Research Background, Materials and Methods, Theory/Calculation, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, Appendices. These sections can be changed according to the topic of the paper. However, they are the most important sections of any academic paper.

7. Is JTE an open access journal?

Yes. The published issues are available on-line free of charge on the JTE website.
