Publication Ethics

The process of writing a scientific article, submitting the article to the journal (Submission) and the peer review stage (Peer review), is generally the responsibility of a group of people. The responsibility of being aware of the set rules and strictly observing the international regulations related to the concepts of ethics in publishing research articles is always the responsibility of this group of people and should be considered in full. From an ethical point of view, writers, editors, and editorial board members, as well as respected journal reviewers, must follow certain rules to minimize the possibility of scientific error and fraud (Fraud). Following are the ethical principles of writing and publishing research articles in the Scientific Journal of Transportation Engineering. These principles are based on the study and summary of various international regulations.

Respecting the rules of ethics in publications, this journal is subject to the rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows the executive regulations of the Law on Prevention and Counterfeiting in Scientific Works.
