Abstract
Public transportation and its followers, buses, are one of the most important components of today's metropolises, which, due to the congestion and air pollution in many cities, are mentioned as a solution to reduce pollution and move towards sustainability. Due to the occurrence of Covid-19 in cities and its epidemic, it has caused many challenges and problems in urban areas, which is one of the most important components of public transportation, especially buses. Following this, the aim of this research is to investigate the level of satisfaction of the citizens of Tehran city with the state of public transportation with an emphasis on bus travel during the covid-19 epidemic. The research method is T-test, Pearson's correlation test and step-by-step regression to collect appropriate descriptive-analytical bases and indicators and to analyze the data. In general, the results indicate that the citizens are satisfied with the condition of public vehicles [buses] and the treatment, skill and knowledge of the personnel and absolute dissatisfaction with the general condition of the transport station and the condition of public transportation [buses] during the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic. From the point of view of correlation, all the indicators have a suitable level of correlation with each other. Finally, based on the results of the regression analysis of amenities indicators at the station, the quality of vehicles, variety of uses, information at the stations, the urban population has the most influence on the level of satisfaction of citizens with public transportation [bus].
