Abstract
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the factors affecting the users satisfaction of the bus rapid transit (BRT) and a case study of Isfahan city line 2. For this purpose, the questionnaire was provided to 400 passengers of Line 2. Descriptive techniques as well as one-way variance were used to analyze the data. Then, exploratory factor analysis method was used to check the indicators and identify them, and confirmatory factor analysis method was used to determine the most important and effective factor. SPSS and Lisrel software were used for data analysis. The results of the research showed that the level of people's satisfaction with the performance of line 2 of the express bus system is higher than the average (3.49). The item "BRT line 2 bus drivers have sufficient driving skills." It has the highest average (4.250) and the item "Itinerary and travel map of BRT line 2 buses is available has the lowest average (2.260). The results showed that the satisfaction of the users of the transportation system was measured based on various variables, including the number of family members, cost of living, means of transportation, the amount and reasons for using and different social groups, The two factors of comfort and reliability respectively have the greatest effect on people's satisfaction with the performance of line 2 of the high-speed bus system. Two factors of safety and service and route characteristics have had the least effect on people's satisfaction, respectively.
